It will be this but with 160 more hp. I asked and the car I’m picking up at the airport in Denver is l iterally the same color with the same calipers. Only difference is body kit and rims and where I’m d iving it.

Its all about looks. Some of the especially non self-aware luckyboomers who love these will be dazzled by how it is “dynamic” and “bold”. While on the track , it’ll probably still be schooled performance-wise by a normal spec S560.

Have you driven one? The new LS drives nothing like the previous model.

Also, the F-Sport LS is a trim package and does not include engine tuning or power increases. Since there is only one engine available in the LS, comparing it to another make that offers different engines is disingenuous at best.

Nope not a new one, I’ve just read about the current one, and some of the comments aren’t putting this in Germanic territory, at least in terms of driving dynamics. Of course, in comfort and reliability, it will be amazing.

Comparing a sport trim LS to a sport trim S-class, both of which are just appearance packages, is not unrealistic in any way. I didn’t mention S63/65, just an S560, which can be had with subtle and supposedly sporty trim.

The S-class sucks to drive. It rides harshly. The interior is a horrid glitzy disaster. The seats are spiteful to sit in. The shifter is confoundingly stupid. The only reason it is still the class leader is that the three-pointed-star used to mean something. Where was MB in the recent JD Power rankings? Not at the top with Toyota and Lexus.

I’d take an LS without hesitation.

An AMG S-class is a different story. I would love to see Lexus make an LS F with loads of POWAH! Doubtful they would do it though.
